You change what's sent out via email to an excerpt by choosing "For each article in a feed, show Summary" at Settings -> Reading in your blog's Dashboard, and do the same for the front page by splitting your post with a More tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
Why am I getting words underlined with links that I didn't put there on my blog all of a sudden?

University of Alabama Associate Professor Martin Young suggests the following natural strategies to help your body resync after the time change: (University for example has the double underline and link)
True, but the picture could have come from them actually, so it's a combo of you and them on the listing. It's a "leg up move" in search. ;) I suspect it's the Google plus picture showing and they've associated it with your blog, BUT why is the picture not showing up next to the main site and only on the subdomain, which is my wordpress.com site if that is the case? I know you can't respond to what they do.
Interesting also that they are focusing on author photos rather than content photos. But then again, perhaps they have no right to take the content photos from my wordpress site, because they are making money from their listings. They would be using my content photos for their commercial purposes one could say. So it would make sense if they only used the author photo of me on Google plus for this purpose as I'm sure I've given them permission to use it by clicking yes to one of their agreements. ; )
That is exactly what I was doing wrong. And I completed missed that part. It pays to read every word. Thank you for your help!!
Just confirmed the answer by clicking on the picture itself. It opens up my Google Plus listing, so the picture is from Google and the content is from my wordpress.com site It's a "leg up" search move. ; )
I wish I knew, Google's a fun entity that changes little things quite frequently, though not as much as Facebook does.
You're welcome!
That's actually an ad, but not one that we're running.
Please note that it's possible for ads to appear in your browser that were not placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks, that was very helpful! I changed my homepage already! I guess I'll have to wait until I publish the next post to see whether it now also works for the e-mail notifications. Thanks again!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for replying! Perhaps there are two issues. I am confused about the difference between a non-Wordpress user choosing to receive posts by e-mail (which I have done with my own blog to see what happens), and a WordPress member who just clicks the "follow" button.
When I was logged out, I signed up as an e-mail follower of my own blog. I DO receive the entire post by e-mail. Are you saying that even for an e-mail follower like me, in the case of an embedded video, I would not also receive the video? (I did receive the embedded audio file I created this week.)
And are you saying that, if I were a wordpress user who, when logged in, clicked the follow button on a blog, I would only receive an email saying that a new post is up? Thanks for your help.
Your blog's RSS feed is http://moneybanks.wordpress.com/feed/
For more info, see http://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/
I'm seeing all 5 columns in Chrome at http://michelleswift.com/
Which version of Chrome are you using?
There really is no difference. WordPress.com users will initially receive your blog at http://wordpress.com/#!/read/following/ when they Follow and have the option of choosing the receive emails as well.
The issue with the video embeds is that most require Flash or HTML 5 support to play, and most email clients support neither of the two.
Thanks for explaining that. Also, I checked back, and csonnek was right, and I was wrong. When I received my post via e-mail with the audio file, the file wasn't a file, but a link back up the audio piece on wordpress. I now understand that a video would work the same way.
So I understand everything both of you have been saying, and you have answered my questions. THANK YOU!
You're welcome!
I am trying to change the nameservers to point to my godaddy webhosting account to self host my new website, the domain is unlocked, privacy off, but it will not let me change the nameserver. When I click OK it says invalid nameservers.
Here are the two namerservers:
pdns03.domaincontrol.com
pdns04.domaincontrol.com
When I click OK it says invalid nameservers, please see screenshot and fix asap.

My Custom Design upgrade (CSS) on my wordpress.com blog did not transfer properly when I migrated to a different host, Bluehost. I used both the FTP transfer and the exported/imported the files. How do I transfer the CSS option to Bluehost?
