Hi - there were two small problems with the setup of your redirect, which I've gone ahead and fixed:
1 - the redirect needs to be set as your primary domain under Store > Domains.
2 - the redirect domain cannot contain http://
Your redirect should be working now - http://myhousecolumbus.wordpress.com now points to http://www.myhousecolumbus.net. If you don't see it active yet, please try clearing your browser's cache.
