Howdy!

I removed some linebreaks from an image description that were causing problems. The extra spacing caused the image to not display on your "Quote of the week #49" post, and caused display problems on the front page of your blog.

It looks like the image description was corrupted, possibly from having been copy/pasted from another source. If you need to copy/paste, please do so using the Paste from Word tool.

You can absolutely move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org and the domain that you've created will still be yours until it expires (Mar 6, 2014). You can either keep it here and point it towards your new WordPress.org blog or you can transfer it to another registrar:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/. You can also request a refund for the rest of your Value Bundle if you request it within 30 days of the original purchase (2013-03-06) by going to Dashboard>>Store>>My Upgrades.

However, in moving to WordPress.org, you will need a hosting provider - we have some recommendations at http://get.wp.com/hosting/ - and need to install the WordPress software from http://wordpress.org/

When I try to make a post, I enter in all the text and pictures to update it and the text box is cleared. Very frustrating!

What is the title of the post in question, and are you using Posts -> Add New in your blog's Dashboard, an app, email, or http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ ?

Thank you for you help, however I mean the tab here I can change what my header says, what type of home page is up, the background color, ect. I do NOT mean the part where you can buy fonts and other things. I am looking for the simple settings tab thing that was there last week. its usually under the pull down bars when viewing your own blog. It is now gone. Like magic. Poof.

I'm trying to insert a logo type image above the title of my blog, on the left hand side. I don't want a header image - it's not meant to be a photo along the width of the whole blog. Just a small logo in the left upper corner. Can this be done on my theme?

I need help with mapping a domain of godaddy site to my wordpress site

The blog I need help with is http://www.cassidymack.com to http://www.cassidymack.wordpress.com
Basically I know wordpress programming and not html so I want the site to re-direct to my wordpress site and is there anyway to get the whole thing moved over to wordpress? I would rather pay them per year than godaddy.com

I just registered and paid $18 for a .com ending not wordpress.com ... I'm wondering why it is still harmoniousmonk.wordpress.com

It says that I have to pay $99 to upgrade to a custom account, but why did i pay the $18 if I have to pay another $99? If i knew I would have to pay another $99 I would have opted for a free wordpress.com website.

What is the difference between a free wordpress.com blog without paying the $18?

Thanks for responding. I am just very confused because prior to this problem made 'pages' under the pages tab, "contact", "about" and "portfolio." These pages appeared at the top under by banner and all the sudden disappeared. These weren't menus or anything like that. Have any insight for this?

I want it to look like this(the light blue pages at the top separated by slashes)

I must say, I am immensely impressed with your reply. It’s woven with professionalism, courtesy, concern, follow-through, teamwork, and it’s all rooted in a refreshing depth of intellectual curiosity. The irony is that had my target audience demonstrated even a fraction of the top-notch professionalism you have shown below, there would have been no website in the first place.

I have been writing a book on and off for several years, and I’ve come so far lately that I can finally see it truly coming to a close by the end of this year (or at least on the verge, anyway). Your email is a perfect illustration of excellence for the type of topics I address, so I’m going to use it as an example. :o)
