sevenessentials on "Can I copy my existing blog and save the copied version under a new domain name?"

Thank you for your replay. My question, however, isn't about changing the domain name - it's primarily about copying my blog so that I will have TWO identical blogs (to start) under two different domain names. How do I COPY it.

I was told by a friend that to do this I would need to import the file. However, when I went to Tools, Import, I got this message:

"Howdy! Upload your WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file and we’ll import the posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags into this site.

Choose a WXR (.xml) file to upload, then click Upload file and import.

Choose a file from your computer:"

If I want to import my existing blog, I don't understand how there would be a file on my computer for it - the file is on YOUR computer. So where do I find the WXR (.xml) file for my existing blog so that I can upload and import it?

Thank you!
