fransiweinstein on "Why am I suddenly having trouble adding links?"

I know how to add links. I do it all the time. I working on a post and just tried to add a link. When I click on the 'link' icon 'http.//' does not show, as it usually does. The designated area is totally blank. That has never happened to me before. Can't figure out what's wrong. Tried several times, same scenario. Honestly don't think I am doing anything wrong because I am doing exactly what I have been doing for years. Please help. Thanks.
