Still having the problem on both browsers and I really need to get to the bottom of this. Please look at the post that's now marked draft. I click publish and see an indication that it's published, but then I look in archives and it's not there. I return to the posts list...and it's back to draft.
Also: You'll see that this entry is marked with a 1977 date but 1) it doesn't show up in the archives there; 2) it appears to be here with today's date:

And 3) despite that, it is not listed in the archives under today's date.
If you're able to properly post this item (and please feel free to try), please send me the steps you followed so I can see whether I can duplicate them.
Do you think the fault could be the theme? I understand that half a million people use it, so that seems unlikely and I'd hate to lose it, as it does pretty much everything I want.
