sherm1000 on "Trying to move to WordPress.org"

I know there's several posts about this but I'm still confused. I've purchased 2 Domain mappings here at Worpress.com but now I want to set up WordPress.org and am getting nowhere. I've purchased hosting with Host Gator but when i try to sign in it's taking me to my blog here and I don't want that to happen. I've tried the export function under tools but am still not getting it. I think it's because I can't get WP.org to start up. I'd gladly delete everything here and start from scratch with WP.org but can't even seem to get WP.org to set up on my computer?? Please help! Thanks,
