xplorela on "I can't add a link to a word"

Very weird. When I go to add a link to a word and then hit "Add Link," I am kicked out of the post. I grab a URL, highlight a word in the body of my post, click the chain icon in the kitchen sink, add the URL (with http://), select "open link in new tab/window," then hit "Add Link." And it does not save, instead it kicks me out! Selecting "open link in new tab/window or not makes no difference. Help!
