Why would I want to know if someone linked to my post?
It's a way to find out who's mentioned your posts on the web, and perhaps add a comment on the other person's site if you like. Some bloggers like to be aware of who's mentioned their posts.

Thanks for sending along the link. I'm not seeing any strange characters there, are you still seeing that or did they go away? If you're still seeing them, would you mind doing two things:
1) Would it be possible to upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting? Here's a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you're not sure. You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library and then post a link so I can see it.
2) Could you please try a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, and let me know if you see the problem there?
