Since I have a Retina MacBook Pro, I am obsessed with making my blog Retina-friendly.
With Photon + WordPress, it seems the recommended "best practice" for inserting Retina-ready photos is to upload a full-size Retina image (2x), but insert it into a post with your image dimensions set to half size (1x).
So, with that in mind.
SUGGESTION: When doing an "Insert Media", add "Half Size" to the pop-up menu of available sizes.
SUGGESTION #2: When doing "Edit Image", add a "Half Size" button in Advanced Settings next to the "Original Size" button.
This would save me a ton of time, as right now I have to insert at Full/Original Size, then literally bust out a calculator app (!) to determine what the appropriate half size is.
Thank you for listening,
Cabel
