efgidley3 on "Insert slideshow instead of gallery with the new up-loader?"

I must be missing something important here. When I'm in the upload dialog the only choices available prior to returning to the insertion point and the [slideshow] code, placed either before or after that point are:
1 Create a new gallery
2 Insert into post (which just inserts every image selected individually, directly into the post)
3 Click here to go to the advanced image editor and a few other irrelevant choices. Update isn't one of them. That is not available until I've returned to the post and the photos I've selected in the upload dialog are nowhere to be seen...
