loiregites on "WP "flips" image on uploading"

Hi, I'm trying to load a portrait image of a wine bottle. Each time I drop the image onto the Add Media window, it immediately flips to an horizontal position so that the bottle is on its side. I've searched all the appropriate help resources and they all say I should find an edit button once it has finished crunching. But I can find nothing to flip it back again.
