foodopera on "I am self hosted, using my own domain name do I need to pay for a wordpress.com"

I am self hosted through Blue host, using my own domain name I recently purchased the $99 bundle for WordPress.com. Do I need to pay for that to have my wordpress.org self hosted site active. Do I actually need a wordpress.com site at all. Should I delete it?

I currently have 2 sites active
